Covering the Basics to Make Every Program a Success

Nothing is more important to us than helping to make your event a resounding success. In order to make sure nothing “falls through the cracks” at showtime, we’ve created the following pre-program checklist that will assist us greatly in presenting the best program possible for your group.

Please send us any information such as industry magazines, company history, recent newsletters, or product brochures that will increase Reginald Bullock’s understanding of your organization, its products, services, people, and challenges. If available, please send us a copy of the program that will be used for this event.

We appreciate your help, please contact us if you have any questions.

Introduction

Please let us know if you would like for us to provide an intro for Reginald or if you would like to create your own.

Podium/Lectern

Reginald does not like to speak from a lectern – therefore, a clear stage is preferred. Reginald’s high energy will keep him moving from one side of the stage to the other. If it is necessary for a lectern to be on stage for the other parts of the program, please have it set to the side of the stage during his presentation.

Platform

With groups of 200 or more, Reginald is more visible on a raised platform (12-18 inches is fine). Being elevated makes it much easier for everyone to see and enjoy his presentation. Please have steps placed in the front, or sides, if possible. Reginald asks that security measures such as roping is set up at the back of the stage so that people cannot accidentally fall off.

Microphone

Reginald prefers a Lavalier microphone but will use a wireless hand-held microphone. He enjoys being able to move around freely so he can interact personally with your group..

Audio/Visual Aids

You’re A/V staff will be happy to learn that Reginald does not always use visual aids or PowerPoint presentations; if he does, it is not extensive. He can send it electronically and or bring a USB Drive.

Hotel and Travel Arrangements

Hotel room reservations (non-smoking), preferably at the same hotel where the event is to be held, are to be secured by you, the client, guaranteed for late arrival, and should be billed directly to your organization.  Reginald Bullock will be responsible for travel arrangements, non-refundable, (Non-stop, when possible) coach fare, round-trip from Washington, DC. (Reimbursable)

Ground Transportation

Please arrange ground transportation (to and from the airport) and let our office know who will be meeting Reginald with a confirmation number and telephone number.

Payment of Fee

Per the agreement, please remember that the entire remainder of the fee (minus the deposit) is due on- site immediately following Reginald Bullock’s presentation. An invoice (except for jobs through a speakers’ bureau), including travel expenses and per diem, will be sent before the engagement.

Please remember: Audio or video recording of the presentation, in part or whole, by the client for private or other distribution is prohibited and is NOT part of OUR Agreement, unless otherwise stated.

Once you have taken care of each of these items, you can be assured that everything will run smoothly-now you can relax and let Reginald Bullock do the rest!
